A 22-yard pass from Ben Schneider to Easton Hunt capped off a huge comeback for the Oregon City Pioneers, who stunned Tigard 28-24 on Friday night to open league play with a victory at Tigard High School. At halftime, the Tigers led the game 17-0 and a rout looked to be in order. Tigard had scored more points than all of Oregon City's prior four opponents combined. But Oregon City got a touchdown run from Mitchell Johnson in the third quarter. Then Schneider connected on a 51-yard touchdown pass to Clay Martineau to make it a 17-14 game.
