Good morning. We say goodbye to January with an athletic Five Things for Tuesday. Expansion hopes One thing you can say about Portland, it has passionate fans for its local sports teams. Ask the Thorns, who hold the attendance record for a NWSL game. Next week, Cathy Engelbert, commissioner of the WNBA, will be in town to talk about the city's prospects for a league expansion team, and fan loyalty will likely be part of the discussion.
