National grocery retailer Trader Joe's has confirmed its plans to open a new store in Tigard.The company did not specify an opening date for the store, at 16200 S.W. Pacific Highway, but Trader Joe's spokesperson Nakia Rohde told The Oregonian/OregonLive 'we hope to be ready to open later this year.'The Oregonian/OregonLive first reported about the small-format grocery chain's plans in June after the company was issued a permit to renovate the site of a former Albertsons at Tigard Towne Square at Southwest Durham Road and Pacific Highway.
