after the first phase of my project, A1 ran into an issue with one of their subcontractors who made a mistake on a window order. In addition, there are several workmanship deficiencies and quality issues still unresolved. A1 initially accepted responsibility for the subcontractor error and the quality issues but have been unresponsive since. After multiple phone calls, emails and texts; as well as multiple unfulfilled commitments by the owners, Richard and Jessica, I feel I have no other choice but to file a formal complaint with the CCB. I'm so disappointed. A1 really seemed like the "real deal" at first, but clearly they are not. One last thing, I chose A1 because of their outstanding reputation and project portfolio and hired them even though they were nearly twice as much as their competitor. I really thought hiring the best and paying to dollar would get me best and highest quality outcome. Lesson learned...sigh.
